Riznychok Borys Ivanovych was chosen an active member of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences in 2001 on the Department of Architecture and Construction Sciences. He was born on March 8, 1936 in the village of Sakhni, Konotopsk district, Sumy region. Lives in Kyiv. Ukrainian. Graduated from Kyiv Institute of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Industrial and Civil Engineering (1958-1963) Candidate of Engineering Sciences -1992. Doctor of Engineering Sciences -2004. The Budnikov Prize Laureate. Honored builder of Ukraine. From 1966 to 1974, he worked as a foreman, site engineer, senior site engineer, chief of the building authority №12; was a Director of the complex of construction enterprises №3 (1974- 1981), Director of the Kyivprombud integrated plant at the Ministry of Industrial Engineering of USSR, Director of the Kyivoblprombud integrated plant and Director of the GolovKyivoblprombud Central Office for industrial management (1981-1990). From 1990 to 1998, he worked at the Kyiv Executive Committee and Kyiv Public Administration on the position of Chief Deputy and Vice-Chief of GolovPEU ( Chief of the building sector of the region). 1998-2006 - Chief Deputy of the representation office of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Kyiv, Executive Assistant of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Author and coauthor of many scientific works and books on construction issues. Has three certificates of authorship for invention issued by the USSR State Committee, three medals, and the VDNKh diplomas(the Russian acronym for Ail-Union Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy). Awarded with three orders, nine medals, and the merit certificate of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
